Adam is the director of international trade and supply chains at Toyota Motor North America, where he advises on policy related to USMCA, tariffs, and other cross-border trade matters. He also teaches an annual graduate-level course at George Washington University on international trade policymaking. Prior to joining Toyota, Adam served as the chief of staff to U.S. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina and as a deputy assistant secretary at the State Department. Originally from Oklahoma City, Adam graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's in international business and obtained his master's degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.
