Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX

Award-Winning Vehicle Technology & Design
WardsAuto editors select the Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX list after evaluating vehicles with new or heavily redesigned interiors and user-experience technology. Judges experience and evaluate the vehicles during their daily driving.
Nominated vehicles are evaluated on a variety of aspects that shape the user’s experience inside the vehicle including aesthetics and design of the interior, material quality, fit and finish, connectivity infotainment options, comfort and usability of controls and features, instrument-panel design, Information delivery and ease of operation, availability and performance of driver-assistance features, as well as overall value.
Winning vehicles will be on display throughout the AutoTech 2026 exhibition hall for attendees to jump in and experience the interior and technology which landed each vehicle a spot on the 2026 Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX list.
The 2026 Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX winners will be honored during a combined ceremony with the AutoTech Awards, on the evening of June 2nd, as part of AutoTech 2026.
2026 Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX Winners
WardsAuto has revealed the 2026 Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX winners, and this year's honorees showcase a decisive industry pivot toward tactile controls, eco-conscious materials and user experiences that prioritize driver focus over digital complexity.
"Consumers have spoken, and automakers are listening" said Drew Winter, Wards 10 Best Interiors & UX judge. "After more than a decade of ever-larger touchscreens and buried menus, the majority of our 2026 test vehicles put the controls drivers reach for most often – volume, climate, seat heaters – right back under their fingertips. The result is an interior that feels modern but doesn't force you to take your eyes off the road."
This year's winning lineup spans segments and price points, united by a shared commitment to driver-centric design, sustainable cabin materials and technology that enhances rather than overwhelms the driving experience.
