John Schnoes is vice president of Connected Car Services, Electrical, Digital Transformation, Engineering and Research & Design (R&D) Strategic Planning at Nissan Technical Center North America (NTCNA). In this role, Schnoes leads the strategic direction and development of innovative connected vehicle services that enhance the customer experience, optimize value, and ensure strong technical alignment across the organization. His work also advances Nissan’s AI and digital transformation strategy, strengthening innovation, integration and overall R&D effectiveness.

Since joining Nissan in 2002 as manager, Electronics Design, Schnoes has held roles of increasing responsibility within the company’s R&D organization. This includes an assignment to Japan as division general manager, Connected Car & Services. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and management of connected vehicle technologies and services.

Schnoes holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University.
