Katreequia (Kat) Thompson is head of Human Resources for Audi of America, Inc. and Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) for Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA). She will advance the Group’s DEI strategy, helping leaders, managers, and team members at every level of the organization intentionally cultivate and support the creation of diverse and inclusive environment to drive high performance. She also leads HR for Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, and Lamborghini, where she serves as a strategic business partner to senior executives as well as leads a team that drives culture, engagement, learning, talent development and talent management.

Kat has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, training, talent development, and employee relations. Before joining Audi of America, she was the Global Supply Chain Human Resources Director at Walgreens; prior to that, Senior Manager of Operational Training and Talent Development/Director for Employee Relations at Allegis Group/TEKsystems and Human Resources District Business Partner at Target Corporation.

Kat is from Bastrop, Louisiana and holds dual Bachelor degrees in Speech Communications and Business Administration from Dillard University and Coppin State University. Kat and her three children reside in Fairfax County.
