Dr. Yansong Chen is the founder and CEO of ROPIX Tech, an engineering and manufacturing consultancy focused on accelerating electrification deployment and manufacturing transformation in the North American EV market.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry, Dr. Chen has held senior roles across strategy, product development, engineering, and manufacturing at Delphi Automotive and Ricardo Strategic Consulting. She has led high-impact initiatives—including business revenue growth, engineering transformation for efficiency and agility, and driving EV programs from concept to launch and into first high-volume production.

Dr. Chen brings deep expertise in bridging advanced technology with scalable execution, specializing in electrification, connectivity, safety systems, and manufacturing readiness.

She was named a 2022 Automotive News Rising Star and recognized in 2023 as a Top Woman in EV by EV Summit. Dr. Chen serves on the Inforum MobilityNEXT Executive Advisory Board and the Oakland University Bioengineering Advisory Board.

She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from Indiana University, and a B.S. from Kettering University.
