David Cook serves as senior vice president of technology for Bosch Mobility, Americas. In this cross-divisional role, Cook brings together digital technology trends and regional needs across the Bosch Mobility portfolio. These projects span hybrid powertrains, in-vehicle AI-based features, software-defined vehicles and more. Additionally, Cook helps ensure the Americas organization is equipped to serve customers with the required regional research and development competencies and capabilities.

Since joining Bosch in 2005, Cook has held leadership roles in research and development for 12 years and business leadership for eight years in the U.S. and Germany. Previously he held leadership positions in Bosch Research as well as the Electrical Drives and Power Solutions divisions of Bosch Mobility. Most recently Cook served as head of the global Thermal Systems business unit for Bosch in Germany.

Cook earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University, and a master's degree and a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
