Scott Davies is a business development and engineering leader who blends deep powertrain expertise with a modern perspective on digital transformation in the automotive sector. In his current role at PTC, he works with OEMs and suppliers to identify productivity gains, streamline engineering workflows, and accelerate adoption of PLM, MBSE/ALM, and manufacturing digitalization tools.

Scott previously led engineering organizations at Polaris Industries, where he oversaw electrical systems, powertrain integration, and emissions compliance across multiple vehicle platforms. Earlier, at Jaguar Land Rover, he shaped air-path and diesel performance strategy, establishing calibration best practices adopted across the global engineering team.

He is best known for his work at McLaren Automotive, where he directed powertrain operations and helped drive next-generation propulsion development, including advanced combustion and early carbon-neutral concepts.

He lives just outside the Twin Cities in Minnesota. He is a commercial-rated pilot and flies regularly, supporting a variety of missions with many volunteer organizations.
