Scott King is currently the Global Manager for Advanced Manufacturing IT at Ford Motor Company. Over the last 25 years he has been the development manager for Ford's key manufacturing solutions including Schedule Execution, Quality & Traceability, Maintenance & Monitoring and Manufacturing Engineering. In these roles, he has been the lead for Ford's Manufacturing 4.0/5.0 initiatives within information technology, and his teams have developed and activated the company's global manufacturing platforms and enterprise-level manufacturing solutions. His teams took the lead in early AGILE/FLOW software development methodologies and use those same techniques to develop leading edge solutions today.
Prior to Ford, Scott worked for the Boeing Phantom Works and The Lockheed Martin Skunk Works, in Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) programs for advanced military platforms. He holds Bachelors and Master of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Masters in Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta and a Masters degree in Program Management from the Project Management Institute (PMI®).
